What shall I render to the Lord or all his benefits to me? I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord, I will pay my vows to the Lord in the presence of all his people.
Psalm 116:12-14

King David recognized that God offered David unmerited favor (grace). It is difficult to know how to respond to someone being extremely gracious to you. Recently I experienced extreme grace from brothers in Christ and didn't know how to respond. So I texted one and said "I don't know what to say except thank you." King David asks What should I give to the Lord when He has given so much to me? His divinely inspired response is to 1. enjoy his salvation 2. pray to God 3. commit himself to the lord in front of the people in his life. This is unsurprisingly similar to what Micah says the Lord requires of us in Micah 6:8 "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" So, what should we do in light of God's grace/unmerited favor/blessings? The answer is simple but the application is hard 1. enjoy salvation 2. pray to God 3. commit yourself to him publicly and finally 4. love him.

Stay faithful brothers! Enjoy God's blessings, He is honored when we enjoy them!
